I am originally from Green Bay, but I have taught school in Wausau, Wisconsin and had some experiences in the Denver, Co. School District.   I have been at Washington Junior High for the last 22 years and have taught grades ranging from 7th to 9th grade.  My degrees came from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay in the area of History and Broad Field Social Studies.   Over the past 22 years, have have been involved in coaching both at Washington and Lincoln high School and acted as a new teacher mentor and instructor of lesson planning for teachers coming into the District.  This 2015 - 16 school year I will be teaching the 8th grade level in a curriculum called, "The Nonwestern World" and 7th grade level called'"The 7 Social Sciences".  Our studies will focus on how geography effects the human condition, with application of effects seen in Japan, China, Middle East and Russian and the Commonwealth for the 8th grade and History, Economics, Psychology, Anthropology, Political Science, Geography and Sociology for the 7th grade.
