*UnitedOne is currently looking for one 7th grader and one 8th grader to work at our Washington Branch.  Interested students can pick up an application in the main office or stop right in by the Washington branch during your lunch hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays.   *Beat the winter blahs with books! ALL AGES are invited to join our Winter-Read-a-Thon at the Manitowoc Public Library! Kids, Teens, and Adults can read or be read to a total of 10 hours over our 5 week program to earn a fabulous prize. For the Grand Finale, celebrate reading with a big BINGO party and Hot Cocoa Bar on February 29!  Register at any Service Desk. *Have you bought your yearbook yet?  If not, please come to the office to order one.  The cost is $15. Don’t delay- there will be a limited amount ordered. *Are looking for a fun after school activity?  Starting Monday from 3-4, the Off the Hook Crochet Club will meet in room 112.  Learn how to crochet or bring your own project. Make bracelets, dishcloths, scarves and more!

What: Team Building Activities, Planning school dances, Preparing for school spirit days, and Assisting with Homework Club by tutoring

How to Join: Ask Ms Gleason or Mr. Depner for an application

Why: Help make the school a more positive place



Mr. Black will be starting an after school STEAM lab, Mondays after school from 3:10 to 4:00.  The STEAM lab is for 6th, 7th or 8th graders interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and how art is a part of all of them.  If you like robotics, drones, 3D printing, digital art, engineering challenges, this is the after school activity for you.
